Mission
This educational program develops professionals in innovative learning environments, in the field of computer science interested in the development of their capabilities, skills and attitudes for the generation, management and application of knowledge about information systems, software engineering, technology management, robust, parallel and distributed systems, as well as flexible computing, which will be able to provide solutions to the demanding technological problems of the region of the state of Jalisco and Mexico in the first term, and the challenges at the global level in the second instance.
Vision
In the year 2030, the Computer Engineering degree program has quality indicators, in accordance with the profiles of national and international accreditation organizations, thus ensuring its accreditation, which is based on the quality of its graduates, its academic staff, the efficiency of its outreach and extension processes, as well as the strength of its academic and administrative processes, which under continuous improvement approaches, allow fostering the practice of values, institutional identity, social co-responsibility, as well as the adoption of policies of inclusion.
