Computer engineering reviews all the elements of reality that provide it with data, for example: images, sounds, transactions made from some remote place, the vision of the stars in the universe; generating information and establishing relationships between them. Nowadays, this information proposes to infer knowledge, which supports organizations in their management and in the processing of information in an automatic way.
To achieve these results, computer engineering incorporates strategies such as data mining, information security and knowledge-based systems.
The educational program offered by the Centro Universitario de Ciencias Exactas e Ingenierías incorporates several strategies to increase its efficiency. One of them is the definition of four strategic axes around which theoretical courses are offered, as well as problem-solving seminars, which are oriented to contribute to the formation of intellectual habits and capacities that allow our graduates to continue studying throughout their professional life.
The program is flexible in terms of the number of subjects per semester; the exchange in the list of subjects in any of the areas, for other recommended subjects, either for early incorporation in research, or exchange stays in national or foreign universities, or simply for project requirements.
