The Graduate in Materials Science is the professional who proposes innovations and participates in multidisciplinary groups to generate products of technological and social impact, with added value, through the development or modification of materials, applying sustainability criteria. It is able to identify and determine the structure and composition of materials to understand their relationship. Applies methods of synthesis, processing and characterization using techniques and equipment suitable to obtain materials with defined properties. It has the knowledge and skills to evaluate the specific characteristics of the materials and modify them for optimum performance.
