Objectives
The objectives of the Informatics Engineering Curriculum are to provide the graduate with the ability to:
Research and innovate in Software Engineering area new paradigms and development methodologies, as well as the successful application of those models in the development and management of Information Systems.
Plan, develop and manage the application of ICT within organizations, through robust, parallel, distributed or adaptive solutions.
Manage the technological infrastructure, available and emerging, within organizations for leveraging it in the context of an optimal use of Information Systems.
Specific objectives:
To train professionals with knowledge of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and Software Engineering, which will allow them to develop and manage Information Systems.
To develop skills in the professional to apply, configure and take advantage of the available system infrastructures, including architectures, communication media and hardware devices, with the objective of proposing robust, parallel, distributed and/or adaptable solutions to problems related to information processing.
